Korukuve seals victory for CYMOT SKW

Edwin "Guti" Korukuve, a CYMOT employee since 2006 and a regular first team member at CYMOT sponsored Sport Klub Windhoek, sealed victory for his team during this weekend’s Namibian Premier League match. Guti's wonder strike into the top left hand corner from 30 meters out ensured a 2-0 victory for CYMOT SKW against Eleven Arrows form Walvis Bay.

Arrows, who were fielding five national team members, were never allowed to find their rhythm during the 90 minutes of play. An excellent team performance by CYMOT SKW earned them a well deserved three league points which kept the team in close contact with the first placed teams on the log.

Another outstanding performer for CYMOT SKW was centre back Bernard "Silver Fox" Zemburuka. Also a CYMOT employee since 2005, Silver pulled off some vital tackles throughout the match to see his side go without conceding a goal for the second game running.

CYMOT SKW will face Oshakati City in their next league encounter on 23 January. The team will be hoping to pick up where they left off when they make the long journey to Oshakati in six days time.
